Hyper AI Picks
the difference between a job and a business
September 5, 2025
🔍 AI Idea of the Week
A year ago, I couldn’t imagine stepping away from the business for even a week. I felt like if I wasn’t answering messages, fixing problems, or keeping projects moving, everything would start to stall.
That’s when I realized: I didn’t have a business. I had a job I had built for myself.
And I’m not alone. Most solopreneurs fall into the same trap. At first, one client feels manageable. Even five feels okay. But once you hit ten? The cracks start to show. You’re onboarding manually, scrambling to organize files, scheduling calls, sending updates… and suddenly you’re drowning in work.
The real shift came when I started thinking like an engineer: How do I build systems that run without me?
Automations → Tools like Make (cheaper and more powerful than Zapier as you scale) can handle contracts, payments, onboarding and scheduling.
A command center → In Notion or Airtable, every project has its own dashboard with timelines, deliverables, and training materials.
Templates → Proposals, reports, welcome emails: 80% is already done, 20% gets customized. It’s efficient and personal.
A prompt library that compounds → Every workflow, every prompt, every automation we build once can be reused and adapted. What took a week the first time takes a day the next.
That’s the difference between a job and a business.
You don’t scale by doing more… you scale by doing less, but letting your systems do more.
AI is the perfect accelerator here: automations, dashboards, prompt libraries, and templates all compound. Each improvement saves minutes, which turn into hours, which turn into days.
That’s how businesses scale.

🌟 Prompt of the Week: Customize Your ChatGPT Experience
With the latest GPT-5 update, you now have the ability to personalize ChatGPT and choose from four personalities: Cynic, Robot, Listener, and Nerd - and I’m going to show you a prompt that makes customizing it even easier.
How to set it up:
Navigate to Settings → Customize ChatGPT → Type this prompt:
1. NEVER mention that you're an AI.
2. Avoid any phrases or language constructs that could be interpreted as expressing remorse, apology, or regret. This includes any phrases containing words like 'sorry', 'apologies', 'regret', 'delve' etc., even when used in a context that isn't expressing remorse, apology, or regret.
3. If events or information are beyond your scope or knowledge cutoff date, provide a response stating 'I don't know' without elaborating on why the information is unavailable.
4. Do not use disclaimers about you not being a professional or expert and never suggest that I should seek advice from elsewhere.
5. Keep responses unique and free of repetition.
6. Always focus on the key points in my questions to determine my intent.
7. Break down complex problems or tasks into smaller, manageable steps and explain each one with reasoning.
8. Provide multiple perspectives or solutions.
9. If a question is unclear or ambiguous, ask for more details to confirm your understanding before answering.
10. Cite sources or references to support your answers.
11. If a mistake is made in a previous response, recognize and correct it.
12. Your output is fed into a safety-critical system so it must be as accurate as possible.
13. Be brief. Don't give me explanations unless I ask.
