🔍 AI Idea of the Week: AI Will Choose You Better
Would you let an AI hire you?
This research papershows what happened in a massive experiment with 70,000 job seekers, run in partnership with a major recruitment firm.
The study tested whether candidates do better when interviewed by humans or AI voice agents… and the results were nothing like recruiters expected.
Here’s how it worked:
Group 1 got interviews with human recruiters
Group 2 was interviewed by an AI voice agent
Group 3 could choose between the two
Surprisingly, 78% chose the AI.
And this wasn’t hidden, every call began with: “Hi, I’m Anna, your AI recruiter.”
Anna sounded natural, asked smart follow-ups, and even laughed at the right times. Candidates knew they were talking to AI… but still preferred it.
Then came the results:
Applicants interviewed by AI were 12% more likely to get hired
They were 18% more likely to actually start the job
And 17% more likely to still be working after a month
Why? The paper suggests AI did what humans often don’t: it never rushed, skipped questions, or cut things short. Instead, it asked consistently better questions and gathered more relevant data.
And this isn’t just research. Major companies are already deploying AI recruiters today. Meaning your next job interview might not be with a person at all.
⚡ AI Signals - 3 Game-Changers You Need to Know Now
ChatGPT now greets you with Pulse, a quick morning snapshot
ChatGPT just launched Pulse, a daily “wake-up card” that pulls from your calendar, contacts, and past chats to serve quick updates, reminders, and even recipe ideas. The feature is currently available on mobile for Pro users.
Why it matters: Instead of juggling your calendar, notes, and reminders across apps, you can see your schedule, tasks, and ideas all in one place inside ChatGPT.
Google Search goes live and voice-first
The new Search Live lets you ask Google questions out loud or point your camera at something for real-time answers. You can follow up conversationally, and it responds back with context.
Why it matters: Search is evolving into a dialogue, not a box of links. That changes how we discover, learn, and buy.
Notion’s AI agents take the wheel
Notion 3.0 introduced autonomous AI agents that can research, update databases, manage tasks, and build pages for up to 20 minutes at a time.
Why it matters: Notion is moving from “workspace” to “co-worker.” It’s a step toward apps that do your work, not just organize it.
