Hyper AI Picks

how to become an AI-influencer

July 4, 2025

Another week, another set of Hyper AI Picks from me and the team!

🔍 AI Idea of the Week

“AI personalities are going viral… and earning millions.”

This week, CNBC reported that a virtual YouTuber named Bloo - fully AI-generated, from voice to animation - is earning $1 million per year.

There’s no studio. No editor. No camera.

Just a solo creator using AI tools to write, voice, animate, translate, and publish at scale.

And Bloo’s not alone.

  • Aitana López, an AI model from Barcelona, earns up to €10K/month on brand deals.

  • Neuro-sama, an AI chatbot VTuber, streams on Twitch with 800K+ followers and a cult fanbase.

  • Lil Miquela, the OG CGI influencer, makes an estimated $10M/year from partnerships.

  • Lu do Magalu, a retail avatar, has 7M followers and earns more than most celebrities.

None of them are real. But their business models are.

AI is unlocking a new class of creator-entrepreneurs.

People who can move faster, test faster, build faster and monetize earlier.

If you're waiting for AI to get easier, more mainstream, more accepted...

You’re already behind the people using ElevenLabs + Pika + ChatGPT + VTuber Studio to launch faceless channels that go viral in 4 languages.

The sooner you learn how to prompt, the faster you’ll get where you want to go: whether that’s more income, more reach, or more freedom.

What starts as an avatar can turn into a cash-flow asset.

Here’s how you can start your AI-influencer business:

  • Start by creating a simple AI character using HeyGen or Synthesia: digital host, reviewer, or explainer.

  • Use ChatGPT to write short scripts (60-90 seconds), and ElevenLabs to give your character a voice.

  • Post daily to YouTube Shorts or TikTok around a clear niche (like skincare, finance, or Amazon finds).

  • After 30 days, track which videos hit.

Then:

→ Turn on YouTube monetization

→ Add affiliate links in captions

→ Pitch UGC deals as your AI persona

⚡ AI Signals

🔎 AI search is coming to Gmail

Google’s rolling out Gemini-powered search inside Gmail for business users. Instead of digging through emails with keywords, you’ll be able to ask things like “What did Sarah say about Q3 timelines?” and get a summary instantly.

Why it matters:
This could be the beginning of the end of inbox overload. AI that actually understands your email means faster answers, better follow-ups, and less wasted time.

👀 Reddit says AI is the future of its platform

As Reddit turns 20, its CTO says AI is now baked into their roadmap: from summarizing long threads to improving search, discovery, and even content moderation.

Why it matters:
Reddit’s massive archive of human conversation is becoming AI training gold. And it shows: every major platform is turning its data into an AI advantage.

🎮 Runway wants to use AI to build video games

Runway, the AI tool behind some of the best text-to-video demos, is now aiming at game dev. They’re working on tools that could generate entire scenes, assets, or levels using AI.

Why it matters:
AI is starting to cut down the time (and cost) it takes to build games, which could open the door for solo creators and small teams to ship games faster than ever.

📅 OpenAI’s next big Dev Day is in October

OpenAI just announced its next Dev Day for October. Last year they dropped GPT-4 Turbo and a wave of major updates. What’s coming this year? We don’t know yet, but expectations are high.

Why it matters:
If you want to know what tools, features, or models you’ll be using six months from now, this is the event to watch.

🛠 AI Tool We’re Testing: Custom GPTs

If you’ve already built a Custom GPT… this is your reminder:

It’s time to update it.

OpenAI rolled out some important updates:

  • You can now choose which model your Custom GPT runs on (GPT -4.1, GPT-4o, etc.)

  • If you want image generation, make sure GPT-4o is selected and image support is toggled on (it’s off by default)

Take 10 minutes this week:

✅ Update the model
✅ Check the toggles (especially image + browsing if relevant)
✅ Improve your instructions with examples
