Hyper Entrepreneur Dispatch
uncertainty for lunch?
August 25, 2025
Last week, we officially chose the name for our company: HyperEntrepreneur (thanks for voting!)
Yes, we’re shifting from this being just ‘Darius Lukas’ into something bigger - a brand, a movement, an identity we can all own together.
It took me a while to figure out why this name sticks, and what the words Hyper Entrepreneur really mean to me…
It goes way back...
To 1988… (story alert)
I was born in Lithuania, on the edge of the Soviet Union’s collapse (a regime built to suffocate entrepreneurship in every form).
Overnight, the entire country has collapsed:
…Shops suddenly stopped accepting the money you had in your pocket…
…School textbooks had to be rewritten because half of what they taught was no longer relevant…
…The people who were once respected had to hide, while others who had been in the shadows suddenly stepped into leadership positions…
I was too young to fully remember it, but what I do remember is the feeling: EXTREME UNCERTAINTY.
For better or worse, my earliest years trained me to tolerate insane levels of uncertainty…
That’s why moving to London at 18 to study felt more like an adventure than a life-threatening uprooting.
It’s also why I was able to walk away from a career in theatre directing in the UK, pack up, and move to Bali to start my first online business…
It looked messy.
Well, it was messy…
My friends were settling down, buying houses, starting families.
I couldn’t afford any of it.
But I kept choosing uncertainty.
And eventually, that business scaled into something that still pays me today - at the level of a City of London banker (and certainly not that of a theatre director).
My appetite for uncertainty is what pushed me to start an AI business. I could feel the times shifting again, and I wanted to be at the front of that wave…
To me, that’s what it means to be a Hyper Entrepreneur.
It means leaning into uncertainty.
Taking risks.
Playing your own game outside the rigid system.
Solving problems creatively - and being rewarded for it.

For years, you didn’t have to become entrepreneurial - playing it safe was enough. Study law or economics, work your way up, and you could count on a solid living…
Not anymore…
Just like the fall of the Soviet Union upended everything overnight, AI is causing a similar shock today:
…Jobs that once paid six figures were suddenly competing with tools you could subscribe to for $20 a month.
…Knowledge that took years to learn could now be generated in seconds.
…Status shifted from those with credentials to those with adaptability.
And this is why we need to become Hyper Entrepreneurs more than ever.
It’s not just about mastering prompts, setting up AI automations, or squeezing more productivity out of your day.
It’s about leveling up the soft skills too - creativity, resilience, tolerance for risk, the ability to innovate.

Choosing to become a Hyper Entrepreneur is like grabbing a surfboard and deciding to ride the wave of change instead of being knocked over by it.
Those who can stomach uncertainty - and even eat it for lunch - will thrive in the new economy, because they’ll keep evolving with it.
Those who deny the change will simply lose.
And in this context, launching Hyper Entrepreneur as a company brand - with a suite of AI products, an AI Consultant certification, and other programmes on the way - feels more than meaningful.
We’re here to train the next class of Hyper Entrepreneurs.
